Remodelling of an existing penthouse apartment, within a Victorian Mansion Block.

The original building was converted into flats in the 80’s. Our design increased the area of fenestration and opened up a previously gloomy interior to create a light and airy home centred around a double height living space.

The existing accommodation was flipped, moving the bedrooms to the lower level, and three main living spaces to the upper level. A feature bookcase and glazed roof create a sense of scale and drama.
